Directions:
All ingredients must be put in a warm kitchen.

Put the last 7 ingredients, evenly divided, in 2 bowls, cover and leave out overnight.

Next day use half of the ingredients as follows: warm milk add a little bit of sugar, one cube of yeast and enough flour to cover lightly. Let rise until it breaks up. Then add the rest of ingredients and knead until it doesn't look wet anymore and doesn't stick to hands. Then add fruit and let rise. It should rise in a warm place until it doubles in volume for maybe 1 hour.

Make loaves (3), put on baking sheet, covered with parchment paper and let rise again. Bake in 425º oven about 30 minutes. When still hot cover with some melted butter and then some rum or brandy. Let it cool a little bit and cover with powdered sugar.
