2 C fresh or frozen blueberries
1 C water
½ C sugar
¾ C flour
¼ C sugar
½ Tsp baking soda
¼ Tsp salt
½ C butter
2 Tab buttermilk

Directions:
Directions:
In a 3 Qt. saucepan mix berries, water and ½ C sugar.
Bring to boiling.
Cover, reduce heat and simmer 5 minutes.

Combine flour, the ¼ C sugar, soda and salt.
Cut butter into flour mix till mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
Stir in buttermilk just till flour is moistened.
Drop batter by tablespoonfuls atop bubbling blueberry mix, making six dumplings.

Cover pan tightly, simmer 15 minutes (do not lift cover).
