Sauce:
1 c. brown sugar
2 Tbsp. butter
3 c. water
Batter:
1 c. flour
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. milk
1/2 c. chopped nuts
1/2 c. chopped dates
Directions:
Directions:
Cook sauce and set aside. Make batter by mixing all ingredients and then pour into a deep dish baking pan, pour sauce over top, bake for 30 minutes at 350º. Serve warm with whipped cream.
