2 lb beef (cut into cubes) or 2 lb lean ground beef
1 small bag mixed frozen vegetables
1 medium onion (chopped)
3 medium potatoes (peeled and diced)
1 carton of beef broth
1 garlic clove (diced)
1 large can tomato sauce
1 can diced tomatoes
1 cup instant barley

Directions:
Directions:
In a large soup pot, brown beef. Once browned add the onion, and potatoes. Let cook for about 10 minutes. Then add all the rest of the ingredients (except for the barley). Cook on medium and let simmer about 45 minutes. Add the barley and simmer another 15 to 20 minutes.
