1 cup Shortening
¾ cup Honey
1 Egg
1 tsp. Vanilla
2 cups Flour, sifted
½ cup Nuts, chopped
½ cup Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips
¼ cup Maraschino Cherries, chopped
Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º.

Cream together the shortening and honey. Add egg and vanilla and beat well. Fold in nuts, chocolate chips and cherries.

Drop by the teaspoonful onto ungreased baking sheet. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until slightly brown.

Leave on baking sheet for one minute then move to a wire rack to cool.
