1C All purpose Flour
1C Yellow Cornmeal
2/3C White Sugar
1t Salt
3 1/2t Baking Powder
1 Egg
1C Milk
1/3C Vegetable Oil

Directions:
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C)
2. Spray or lightly grease a 9" round cake pan
3. In a large bowl, combine flour, cornmeal, sugar, salt and baking powder. Stir in egg, milk and vegetable oil until well combined.
4. Pour batter in prepared pan
5. Bake in preheated oven for 20 to 25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the centre of the loaf comes out clean.

We followed the recipe but make sure the pan is the only pan in the oven or the cornbread won't be fully cooked. Made for Kaitie and Ryan Nov 3, 2020 - it was great. Kaitie loved it.
