4 cups of flour
1 1/3 cups of sugar
1 cup of oil
3/4 teaspoon of salt
1 teaspoon of baking powder
1 1/3 teaspoons of baking soda
1 1/3 cups of molasses
1 1/3 cups of boiling water

Directions:
Directions:
Mix 4 cups of flour with the 1 1/3 cups of sugar, salt, baking powder and cup of oil. Take out 1 cup of the crumbs for the topping. Add 1/4 cup flour and 1/4 cup to the topping mix. Now add 1 1/3 teaspoons of baking soda to the original mix. Add 1 1/3 cups of molasses(one jar or bottle) and 1 1/3 cups of boiling water. Mix and pour into a butter greased 9 x 11 pan. Bake at 350º fo 40 minutes.
