1 (20 oz.) can Comstock Apple Pie Filling
2 tsps. Ground Cinnamon
3 cups Flour
2 cups Sugar
1 ½ cups Milk
½ cup Butter or Margarine (softened)
3 tsps. Baking Powder
1 tsp. Salt
3 Eggs
¼ cup Brown Sugar (packed)
¼ cup Nuts (coarsely chopped)
2 Tbsps. Butter or Margarine (melted)

Pre-heat oven to 350º and spray 13x9 pan with non-stick spray.

Mix pie filling and cinnamon together - set aside.

Beat flour, granulated sugar, milk, softened butter, baking powder, salt & eggs together in a large bowl on low speed, scraping bowl constantly for 30 seconds. Beat on medium for 2 minutes, scraping frequently.

Pour half the batter (about 2 cups) into pan.

Spoon half of the pie filling mixture (about 1 cup) over batter in pan, repeat with remaining batter and pie filling mixture.

Sprinkle brown sugar and nuts over pie filling, drizzle with melted butter.

Bake until wooden toothpick inserted in center comes out clean (45 to 50 minutes).
