1 lb Smelts
Salt
Pepper
½ cup Flour
½ cup Corn meal
Garlic powder

Marinato:
3-4 tbsp Red vinegar
¼ cup water
2-3 chopped garlic
1 large soup spoon rosemary

Directions:

Smelts:
1. Rinse smelts
2. Add salt and pepper to smelts
3. In a bowl, mix flour, corn meal, garlic powder, salt & pepper
4. Coat smelts with flour mixture
5. Fry in deep fryer with vegetable oil until golden


Marinato:
1. Mix red vinegar, oil, chopped garlic and rosemary in a saucepan
2. Bring to a boil until you can smell the rosemary
3. Pour over the fried smelts
4. Cover with wax paper and then aluminum foil
