5 c. all purpose flour - plain
1 tsp. baking soda
3 tsp. baking powder
1 1/2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. sugar
1 c. shortening
2 c. buttermilk
1 package yeast
2 tbsp. warm water

Directions:
Directions:
Sift dry ingredients together. Cut in shortening. Dissolve yeast in 2 tbsp. warm water. Add milk and yeast mixture to dry ingredients. Mix well. Brush top with melted butter. Refrigerate until ready to use. Shape as for biscuits. Let rise (about 45 minutes). Bake at 410º for 12-15 minutes.
