3 Tbsp. butter
1 onion, diced
2 carrots, diced
2 stalks celery, diced
2 cloves garlic, chopped
1 tsp. thyme, chopped
¼ c. flour
2 c. chicken broth
2 c. milk
1½ lbs. potatoes, peel & dice
8 oz. ham, diced
1 c. corn
Salt and pepper to taste

Directions:
Directions:
Heat butter in a large sauce pan. Add onions, carrots and celery and cook until tender. Mix in garlic, thyme and flour and cook until flour is lightly browned. Slowly stir in broth, stirring to loosen food that stuck to the bottom of pan. Add milk and potatoes, bring to boil, reducing the heat and simmering until potatoes are tenders. Add ham and corn, cook until heated and season with salt and pepper.
