4 T margarine
4 T flour
2 C milk

2 T margarine
2 T flour
3 C chicken broth

broccoli, chopped and cooked
1 medium onion, chopped

Directions:
Directions:
Melt 4 T margarine in pot.
Add 4 T of flour - gradually.
Stir so there are no lumps.
Gradually add 2 C of milk.

Melt 2 T margarine in non-stick skillet.
Gradually add 2 T flour.
Add slowly the 3 C of chicken broth (can make broth with 3 chicken bouillon cubes and 3 C water).

Add second mixture to first.
Add cooked chopped broccoli.
Saute onion and add to mixture.
Simmer - stir to prevent sticking.

Can substitute cauliflower, celery, mushrooms, or whatever, for the broccoli.
