¼ tsp. baking soda
1 cup milk
2 tsp. lemon juice or vinegar
1 egg, beaten
1 tbsp. butter or margarine, melted

Directions:
Directions:
Stir together flour, baking powder, salt, and baking soda; stir in milk, lemon juice or vinegar, and melted butter. Stir in beaten egg. Cook on a greased waffle iron.
