2 ½ lbs. Chicken wings
2 tsp. garlic salt
2 eggs, beaten
¼ cup vegetable oil

Sauce:
¾ cups sugar
½ cups Japanese rice wine vinegar
¼ cup pineapple juice
3 tbsp. ketchup
1 tbsp. soy sauce
1 tsp. Msg. (Ajinomoto or accent)
½ tsp. salt

Directions:
Directions:
Discard wing tips. Cut wings in half at joint. Rub garlic salt on wings. Let stand 30 minutes. Put cornstarch in a paper bag, add chicken wings. Shake and dip-coated chicken wings in beaten eggs. Fry in vegetable oil until golden brown. Meanwhile, combine sauce ingredients in a saucepan. Heat and pour over chicken. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes turning once. Makes 2 dozen
