½ c. butter
½ c. shortening
1 c. brown sugar
½ c. white sugar
2 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. soda
2½ c. flour
1½ c. M&Ms (or choc. chips)

Directions:
Set oven to 375°.
Beat well the sugars, butter and shortening 'til fluffy. Blend in eggs and vanilla. Add combined dry ingredients and mix well. Stir in M&Ms. Bake for 10 minutes.
