Filling:
16 oz sour cream
2 cups of sugar
12 oz frozen coconut

Frosting:
1/2 of filling
8 oz cool whip

Cake:
1 Duncan Hines Coconut cake mix
ingredients on the box to prepare

Directions:
Directions:
Mix the filling and refrigerate for at least three days, stirring every day.

Bake cake according to package directions using 2 - 9 inch cake pans. When the layers cool, split them each into 2.

Using 1/2 the filling mixture, spread between each cake layer. Mix the remaining filling mixture with cool whip and frost the cake top and sides.

Garnish with more coconut (I use flaked coconut for the garnish).

Store in the refrigerator.
