1½ Cups Sugar
2 Cups Flour
½ teaspoon salt
1 tsp. soda
1 small (8 oz.) ¼can fruit cocktail
2 eggs
½ cup brown sugar

Icing
1 stick of margarine
6 Tbsp. sugar
½ cup canned milk
1 can of angel flake coconut
½ cup of chopped nuts

Directions:

Mix well, first four ingredients (sugar, flour, salt, soda). Add one can fruit cocktail, slightly beaten eggs. mix and stir with a spoon, not a mixer. Pour into a 9" X 13"well greased and floured pan. Sprinkle on top of pan brown sugar. Bake 40-45 minutes at 325ºF.



Icing: Melt margarine, Add sugar and canned milk. Bring to a boil for 2 minutes then add angel flake coconut and chopped nuts. Mix and pour over cake while still hot.
