1 Pie Crust:
1 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
2 to 2-1/2 Tbsp. cold water
1/3 c. + 1 Tbsp. shortening
2 Pie Crusts:
2 c. Flour
1 tsp. Salt
3/4 c. Shortening
4-5 Tbsp. Cold water

Directions:
Directions:
Combine flour and salt, mix and then cut in shortening until well blended with fork or pastry mixer. Make a well in the middle and add water stirring until just well blended. Do not knead for a tender crust. Flour your rolling pin and roll out on a silicone mat and transfer to a pie shell. Make your favorite edge, prick with fork for a cream pie and bake at 400º for 10-12 minutes. Don't prick if adding fruit filling. Bake as directed for fruit pie.
