⅔ c. sugar
3 tbsp. cornstarch
¼ tsp. salt
¼ c. cold milk
2 egg yolks
1¾ c. milk
1 tbsp. butter
1 tsp. vanilla
bananas
nuts
coconut or extract
egg whites
whipped cream
Directions:
Directions:
Beat egg yolks, add dry ingredients. Scald 1¾ c. milk and add egg mixture. Beat-when thick remove from stove. Add 1 tbsp. butter and tsp. vanilla. Cool and add bananas, nuts, coconut/extract. Top with egg whites or whipped cream. (I double this.)
