1 c. salted butter
1 c. sugar
1¼ c. brown sugar
1 c. corn syrup
1 tsp. salt
14oz. can sweetened condensed milk
1 tsp. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Butter a 9x13 dish or line with parchment paper and set aside. Melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Add sugar, brown sugar, corn syrup, and salt. Stir well. Add sweetened condensed milk slowly, stirring well to incorporate. Reduce heat to med/low and cook, stirring constantly until mixture reaches 235º on a candy thermometer. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla. Pour mixture into prepared dish. Let cool completely before cutting. Wrap each in wax paper. Use this recipe for caramel apples!
