3 c. macaroni, uncooked
1½ lb. hamburger
1 Tbsp. chopped onion

SAUCE:
¼ c. butter
½ c. flour
4 c. V8 Juice

Directions:
Directions:
Set oven to 350°.
Boil macaroni in boiling salt water until just tender. DO NOT OVER BOIL! Brown hamburger with onion. Apply non-stick spray into large casserole dish. Add macaroni and hamburger to the casserole dish.
SAUCE:
Melt butter. Add flour and mix until smooth. Cook til almost a light brown which enhances the flavor. Add a little tomato juice into the butter and flour mix. Stir with whisk until smooth. Add remaining tomato juice, stirring continuously to prevent burning. Cook a few minutes until starting to bubble along the edges. Pour and stir sauce into macaroni and hamburger. Season to taste. Bake for 30-45 minutes.
