Ingredients:
Ingredients:
3 - 4 potatoes
1 1/2 Tbsp salt
2 Tbsp butter
1/4 - 1/2 cp milk

Directions:
Directions:
Peel potatoes and dice into approximately 1/2-3/4 inch chunks.

Place potatoes into a medium sauce pan filled enough water to cover the potatoes by at least 2-3 inches. Add salt to water.

Bring water to a boil and cook until potatoes are tender and are easy to mash with a fork. Drain water from potatoes.

Add butter. Use the mixer beaters to initially mash the potatoes. Then turn the mixer on medium. Add milk a little at a time until desired consistency is reached. Add salt and pepper to taste.

- To increase this recipe, a good rule of thumb is one potato per person and 1 extra. For example, for 4 people, use 5 potatoes.

- If possible, use a pan without a non-stick coating. Otherwise you will need to transfer potatoes to a mixer-friendly bowl or pan after cooking.

- Make sure potatoes have ample water to boil the potatoes. Do not add water once the water is boiling. Doing so will make the potatoes sticky.
