Nut Roll
2 small cake yeast
1 small can of evaporated milk
1 small can of water
1½ cup of sugar
6 cups of flour
1 cup of shortening melted
4 beaten eggs
1½ teaspoon salt

Directions:
Directions:
Crumble yeast in ¼ cup of lukewarm water
Mix sugar and shortening, then all other ingredients, gradually the flour.
form ball and set aside.

Filling:
2½ cups of nuts (chopped)
1⅓ cup of milk
2½ cups of sugar
1 cup of butter
¼ teasp of salt
2 beaten eggs
cook until thickened - set aside to cool
rolled out dough , add cooled nut mixture on top of the dough and roll creating nut layers, and Bake at 375 degrees for about an hour
