¾ cup margarine
1 cup brown sugar
¼ cup molasses
1 egg
2 cups flour
2 tsp baking soda
½ tsp salt
1 tsp ginger
1 tsp cinnamon
½ tsp cloves
granulated sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350ºF. Cream margarine, brown sugar, molasses and egg until light and fluffy. Mix dry ingredients together, except sugar. Stir into creamed mixture. Shape into small balls (1 inch in diameter). Roll in granulated sugar and placed on greased baking sheet. Bake at 350ºF for 10-12 minutes. Cool slightly and remove from pan.
