¾ c. butter
10 tbsp. powdered sugar
2 beaten eggs
1 ½ c. sugar
2 ¼ c. flour (divided)

¾ tsp. baking powder
¼ tsp salt
½ tsp. vanilla
4 c. fresh peaches, peeled and sliced
¾ c. chopped nuts

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350º.
Blend 2 cups* flour, butter, and powdered sugar with pastry blender; pat into greased 9x13” pan. Bake 18 to 20 minutes at 350 degrees.
Cream eggs and 1 ½ cups sugar; add baking powder, salt, vanilla and ¼ cup flour. Blend and add sliced peaches and nuts. Pour over crust.
Bake 40 to 45 minutes at 350 degrees. Serve with whipped cream or ice cream.
*(save out ¼ c of the 2¼ C flour )

Hooray for Virginia peaches!! This is the recipe I was meant to make for Alexx's birthday one year, when I [mis]made G'ma's Peach Cake recipe instead. This is the favorite of Alexx(!) (and the other is the favorite of Aunt Laura.)
