1 lb. ground beef
1 c. uncooked rice
1/3 c. butter or vegetable oil
1 medium onion, thinly sliced
1/3 medium green pepper, diced
2 c. canned stewed tomatoes with juice
dash of pepper
1 c. water

Directions:
Directions:
Brown meat, onion, pepper and rice. Add tomatoes, water, salt and pepper. Mix well. Bring gently to boil. Cover and simmer gently 30 minutes.
