1 cup raisins
1 cup sugar
1 tsp cinnamon
½ tsp cloves
1 T. lard
1 tsp salt
½ tsp nutmeg
1¼ cups water

Directions:
1. Boil about 5 minutes. cool. Add 1 tsp baking soda and 2 cups flour.
2. Bake at 350ºF until done.
