3½ lb white sugar
1 cup caraway seed
1 gallon warm water
2 cups grated potatoes
1 cake compressed yeast
Directions:
Directions:
1. Boil first 3 ingredients together for 30 minutes. Put in jar. Cook to lukewarm.
2. Add potatoes and yeast. Let work 10 days.
3. Stir each day. Strain and bottle.
