4 C Ground Beef Mixture:
2 1/2 lb ground beef or turkey
1 C celery, chopped
1 clove garlic, minced
1 C onion, chopped
1/2 C green pepper, diced
1/4 tsp pepper
1/2 tsp salt (optional)

2 T chili powder
2 T ground cumin
2 tsp salt (optional)
(4) 16 oz cans crushed tomatoes, undrained
(4) 16 oz cans red kidney beans, drained
(3) 16 oz cans corn

Directions:
Directions:
Place all ingredients into large pot. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for at least one hour, stirring occasionally. Or do this in your crock pot. Freezes very well, just cool and put into labeled freezer bags.
Ground Beef Mixture is an all purpose mix that can be used for things like taco salads (add pkg taco seasoning).
