3/4 C butter
1 C sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
2 T milk
2 1/4 C flour
1/2 tsp baking soda
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
corn flakes, crushed
maraschino cherries, quartered

Directions:
Directions:
Blend together butter, and sugar until creamy. Add eggs, vanilla, and milk. Blend in dry ingredients. Drop by rounded teaspoons full, or use small cookie/ice cream scoop. Roll into ball, and roll in crushed corn flakes to coat. Press 1/4 maraschino cherry into center. Bake at 350, 12-15 minutes. Cool on rack.

I made these every year for Christmas, as Grandma Vi always made these, and they were one of my favorites. Very tender cookie inside with a crunchy outside. Kaitlin and Nicole loved them too.
