1 lb ground turkey/ or beef
1 onion diced
½ tsp garlic powder
½ tsp ground cumin
1 tsp chilli powder
1 tsp oregano
1 tsp salt
1 8oz can tomato sauce
1 6 oz can tomato paste
1 C water
1 ½ C cooked rice (usually about 1C dry)
1 large bag Fritos corn chips

Directions:

Brown meat with diced onion, drain.
Return to pan add remaining ingredients and seasoning,
Simmer 15-20 minutes

Serve with crunches Fritos in the bottom of bowl, then meat mixture then any topping you'd like. ideas:
sour cream
guacamole
salsa
olives
cheese
lettuce
lime

This is an easy make ahead meal and great for leftovers. Had this meal when a good friend of mine brought it to me when, of course, I had a baby. Everyone loved it, has become a staple in our home.
