1/2 C Sugar
1/4 C light corn syrup
2 T water
2 egg white
1 tsp vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Mix sugar, corn syrup, and water in saucepan. Cover, heat to rolling boil over medium heat. Uncover, boil until 242 degrees, or until small amount dropped into cold water forms a firm ball that holds its shape until pressed. Do not overcook.
As mix boils, beat egg whites until stiff peaks form. Pour hot syrup into egg whites very slowly in a thin stream, beating and scraping bowl constantly on med high speed. Add vanilla, beat on high until stiff peaks form.
