½ cup butter
2 squares (1 oz ea) unsweetened chocolate
1 cup sugar
2 eggs, slightly beaten
1 tsp vanilla
½ cup flour
pinch of salt
¼ cup sour cream
⅔ cup chopped walnuts (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Heat oven to 325. Melt the butter with the chocolate in the top of a double boiler over hot water. Beat the sugar into the eggs. Slowly beat in the melted chocolate mixture. Stir in the vanilla. Sift in the flour, 2 tablespoons at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in the salt, sour cream and walnuts. Pour into a greased 8 in square pan. Bake 30 minutes (be careful not to overcook). Brownies should be moist. Cool and cut.
