2 c. sugar
2 c. regular flour
1 tsp baking soda
½ tsp. salt
1 c. Margarine
1 c. water
1 c. Sour Cream
2 Eggs
4 Heaping tsp. of Cocoa

Directions:
Directions:
Combine dry ingredients first. Then combine liquid ingredients and coca next. Heat liquid portion under very low heat until well blended (stirring often). Then gradually add to flour mixture using a spoon (not mixer). Pour into a greased cookie pan. Bake for 20 minutes at 350º.

½ c. Margarine
10 tbsp. Milk
4 tbsp (heaping) Cocoa
1 Box Powdered Sugar
1 tsp. Vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Simmer margarine, cocoa, and milk at very low heat until just melted.

Then pour in powdered sugar and vanilla. After mixed and melted, pour over hot cake.

I received this recipe from Phyllis Williams. Diabetics beware: this recipe is very, very high in carbs. The Texas cake is a cousin to the Mississippi Mud Cake.
