Brine mixture
6 c water
⅓ c salt (NO iodine salt)
2 c white vinegar
4 Tbsp dried dill
10 black peppercorns

Dill Pickle Jar ingredients
½ Tbsp dried dill
3-4 whole cloves of garlic
4-5 peppercorns
½ tsp mustard seed

Optional:
¼ tsp Xtra Crunch (Calcium chloride) for extra crispiness

Directions:
Directions:
Add ingredients to a sauce pan and boil for @5 minutes. Cool the mixture.

In a mason jar, add dill, garlic, peppercorns, mustard seed. Pack pickles into jar (spears, whole or chips). Fill jar with brine solution. Make sure to remove all air bubbles. Add the Xtra crunch at this point. Seal jars and place in canner.

Boil pints for 10 minutes; quarts for 15 minutes.
