1½ c. butter
3 c. sugar
4 c. mashed bananas
4 eggs
1 t. vanilla
4 c. flour
2 t. baking soda
2 t. salt
1 c. sour milk
1 c. nuts (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Cream together butter and sugar. Blend in mashed bananas, eggs, and vanilla. In spearate bowl, sift together flour, soda, salt. Alternate milk and flour mixture into creamed mixture just until combined, then fold in nuts if desired. Bake at 350º F for about 1 hour. Makes 3-4 loaves.
