1 pat butter
1 beef bullion cube
Aluminum foil
Parmesan cheese (optional)

Directions:
Peel and wash onion. Cut hole in center of onion 3/4 way through to bottom. Drop bullion cube in pat of butter into hole. Wrap loosely in foil and place on grill on low/med and cook until tender. You should see broth forming in foil, making an onion soup like mixture. Top with grated cheese if desired.
Note: This is an excellent appetizer for an outdoor party, working nicely on the grill. Onions can be made in the oven at 325 degrees as well.
