1 slender French baguette
3/4 cup extra-virgin olive oil
1 clove garlic minced
1 tablespoon fresh rosemary, minced
2 tablespoons Parmesan, freshly grated
1/8 teaspoon cayenne or !/2 teaspoon coarse-ground black pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat the oven to 300 F. Slice the bread in 3/8 inch rounds. Place on baking sheet and set aside. In a blender or food processor, combine the olive oil, rosemary, garlic, Parmesan and cayenne. Pulse for 10-15 seconds. With a pastry brush, use half the olive oil-Parmesan mixture to coat one side to the bread slices. Bake the bread in the middle rack of the oven for 5-7 minutes, or until lightly golden. Remove the baking sheet from the oven, turn the slices over, and brush with the remaining olive oil mixture. Bake another 5 minutes, remove the oven. Allow the toasts to cool to room temperature. Serve immediately or store in an airtight container.

Crostini will remain fresh in an airtight tin for up to 3 weeks
