1/2 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup corn syrup
3 tblsps of soft butter
1 beaten egg
1 tsp vanilla
1 tsp vinegar
1/2 cup seedless raisins
Directions:

"I make a pastry mix and just store the crumbs in the frig. 7 cups cake and pastry flour cut in 1 lb. crisco and rub together with your hand. About 3 cups will make the tarts. Mix with very little cold water at a time until it is staying together. Good for pies".

Make about 1 doz. large tarts if your pans are large. I use a large coffee can to cut them out."

"I soak the raisins in some hot water and then drain and divide them up in the bottom of the shells and put a large tblsp of the syrup over them. Divide up the balance of the mixed ingredients.

Don't make them too full."
