Sweet and Sour Chicken Recipe

3 lbs cut up frying chicken
½ cup cornstarch
1 tsp salt
¼ tsp pepper


Sauce
14 oz can pineapple tibits
1 cup sugar
2 tbsp cornstarch
¾ cup cider vinegar
1 tbsp soya sauce
¼ tsp ginger
1 chicken bullion cube
1 green pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º
Mix cornstarch, salt and pepper in a bag.
Rinse chicken parts and put them in the bag and shake to evenly coat them. Probably better to do a couple at a time instead of all at once.
Fry then in oil until brown.

Drain juice from pineapple into a 2 cup measure and add water to make 1¾ cup.
In saucepan combine sugar and cornstarch and then rest of ingredients. Bring to a boil and thicken.
Pour sauce over chicken pieces in a casserole dish and bake uncovered for 30 minutes at 350º basking often.
Add pineapple tidbits and cut up green pepper and bake 30 minutes longer.
