1 egg
1 - 5 oz can (⅔ cup) evaporated milk
⅔ c sugar
c butter
1 ⅓ c flaked coconut
c chopped pecans

Directions:
Directions:
In a saucepan, beat egg slightly. Stir in milk, sugar and butter. Cook and stir over medium heat about 12 minutes or until thickened and bubbly. Stir in coconut and pecans. Cool thoroughly.

Frosts top of one 9x13 cake or tops of two 8 or 9 inch cake layers.
