1½ lbs ground beef
1 chopped onion
1 celery stalk chopped
28oz can diced tomatoes
2 - 10oz cans onion soup
5 cups water
1 small package mixed vegetables (or 1/2 large bag)
750 ml jar spaghetti sause
½ cup small pasta
2 tbsp chopped parsley
1½ tsp sugar
½ tsp thyme, oregano, basil and pepper & salt to taste
grated parmesan cheese
Brown beef and add onion and celery and cook till soft.
Add tomatoes, soup and water and bring to a boil and add frozen vegetables, cover and simmer for 30 minutes.
Add spaghetti sauce, pasta, parsley, sugar and herbs, salt and pepper.
Simmer uncovered for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally,
Sprinkle each serving with parmesan cheese and serve with biscuits.
