½ head of chopped cabbage
1 onion (1 can fried onion)
¼ tsp. salt and pepper
1½ stick margarine (butter)
1 can cream of chicken soup
¾ cup mayonnaise (salad dressing)
1 bag shredded cheddar cheese
1 stack Ritz Crackers

Directions:
Directions:
Place cabbage pieces in 9x13 casserole dish. Saute' onion in 1 stick of margarine(butter) and put on top of cabbage. Mix soup and mayonnaise (salad dressing)and spread over cabbage and onion. Layer shredded cheese next. Mix together Ritz Crackers and ½ stick of margarine and spread over casserole. Bake at 350º for about 35-45 minutes.

This recipe came from Mrs. Jefferson she made for a dinner at my daughters house. I just had to have this recipe it is truly delicious. You can put more onions to this or you can add the fried onion also. I just love this dish.
