head of chopped cabbage
1 onion (1 can fried onion)
tsp. salt and pepper
1 stick margarine (butter)
1 can cream of chicken soup
cup mayonnaise (salad dressing)
1 bag shredded cheddar cheese
1 stack Ritz Crackers

Directions:
Directions:
Place cabbage pieces in 9x13 casserole dish. Saute' onion in 1 stick of margarine(butter) and put on top of cabbage. Mix soup and mayonnaise (salad dressing)and spread over cabbage and onion. Layer shredded cheese next. Mix together Ritz Crackers and stick of margarine and spread over casserole. Bake at 350 for about 35-45 minutes.

This recipe came from Mrs. Jefferson she made for a dinner at my daughters house. I just had to have this recipe it is truly delicious. You can put more onions to this or you can add the fried onion also. I just love this dish.
