2 packages frozen chopped broccoli - Sometimes I add 3 packages of broccoli and increase the other ingredients accordingly. Sometimes I use the big loose packages of frozen broccoli and guess at amounts.

6 0z. Velveeta cheese

1/2 stick butter for broccoli and cheese


Topping:

1 stack Ritz

1/2 stick of butter

Directions:
Directions:
Cook and drain broccoli according to package directions. Put broccoli back into the sauce pan.

Dice Velveeta cheese and add to hot, drained broccoli

Melt 1/2 stick of butter in microwave and combine with broccoli and cheese until all melted and blended together.

Put in square Pyrex baking dish


Topping:

Crush Ritz Crackers

Melt 1/2 stick butter and combine with crushed Ritz

Spread on top of the broccoli casserole. Topping should cover the top of the broccoli.



Bake 25 minutes at 350 uncovered

This recipe came from my mother. I would double the recipe and bake in a large rectangle dish for large gatherings and would take to block parties. Children love this casserole and always ask for seconds! You will love it, too!
