2 1/4 c flour
1 t baking soda
2 t cornstarch
1/2 t salt
3/4 c packed brown sugar
1/2 c granulated sugar
3/4 c butter melted
1 large egg
1 large egg yolk
1 T vanilla
1 c semi-sweet chocolate

Directions:
Directions:
In a large bowl whisk flour, baking soda, cornstarch and salt. With a mixer beat brown sugar, granulated sugar with melted butter until sugars have dissolved into the butter. Add in the egg and egg yolk and beat to combine. Add the T vanilla. Slowly mix in the flour mixture until combined. Fold in chocolate chips. Cover and chill in fridge for at least an hour or overnight. When you are ready to bake preheat oven to 325. Remove the cookie dough from fridge 10-15 minutes before cooking. Line cookie sheet with parchment paper. The dough will be hard to roll but make balls about 2 T in size. Bake for 8-10 minutes (my oven takes longer about 15 minutes) or until they get a touch of golden brown. They will look underdone. Let cookies cool for 5-10 minutes before moving to wire rack.
