1 cup sugar
¾ cup margarine
¾ cup shortening
½ tsp almond extract
2 eggs
4 cups flour
½cup almonds

Glaze:
3 cups powdered sugar
4-5 T. Milk

Directions:
Directions:
1. Mix sugar, margarine, shortening, extract and eggs. Add flour and almonds.
2. Shape dough in 1¼ inch balls. Roll each ball into ropes, 6" long, form each rope in circle, cross ends and tuck under.
3. Bake at 375ºF for 9-11 minutes. Let cool and drizzle glaze.
