1 (14 oz) can of sweetened condensed milk

1½ cup cold water

1 (3½ oz) package instant vanilla pudding and pie filling mix

2 cups (1 pint) whipping cream, whipped

1 (12 oz) prepared loaf pound cake, cut into cubes (about 6 cups)

4 cups sliced fresh strawberries plus additional for top

½ cup strawberry preserves (I use Nana jam, of course!)

1. In a large mixing bowl, combine sweetened condensed milk and water, mix well. I use an electric hand mixer.
2. Add pudding mix and beat until well blended. Chill 5 minutes.
3. Whip whipping cream until thick and peaks and fold into pudding mixture.
4. Spoon 2 cups pudding mixture into 4 qt. round glass serving bowl, top with half the pound cake cubes, half the strawberries and half of the preserves. Then, half of the remaining pudding mixture, rest of the cake cubes, strawberries and the rest of the preserves.
5. Spoon the rest of the pudding mixture on top and garnish with additional strawberries.
6. Chill for 4 hours or until set. Refrigerate leftovers.
