Dough:
3 1/2 c flour
3 eggs
2 TBSP Sour Cream
3/4 c Water

Filling:
2 c Freshly Mashed Potatoes
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp onion powder
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
1 c grated cheddar cream
Directions:
Directions:
Combine flour, eggs, sour cream and water. beat in eggs. Turn dough out on to lightly floured surface. Knead 3 to 5 minutes. Wrap in plastic wrap and let rest for 30 minutes.
In another bowl, mix mashed potatoes, spices and cheese.
Start large pot to boil with a little salt.
Roll out dough and cut out 3 1/2" circles. Place a heaving Tbsp of filling in center, fold in half, pinch edges closed with fingers or with a fork. Boil in salted water 2 to 3 minutes until they float. Remove and drain. You can freeze extra at this point.

Melt 1/2 cup butter in a skillet, add sliced onions and pierogi turning until lightly brown.

Serving Suggestions:
Top with Chives and/or crumbled bacon
Sour Cream
Great served with Polish Sausage.
