1 chicken
1⅓ c. butter
1⅛ c. flour
1 tbsp. salt
tsp. pepper
4 c. chicken broth
2 c. rich milk
4 c. day old bread crumbs
c. chopped onion
1 c. chopped celery
1 tsp. sage

Directions:
Directions:
Cook chicken and remove meat from bone. Melt in a large skillet; butter, blend in flour, salt, and pepper. Cool, stirring over low heat until bubbly. Stir in slowly - chicken broth and rich milk. Boil 3 minutes, stirring constantly. In a separate bowl combine day old bread crumbs, chopped onion, celery, and sage. Toss lightly to mix. Combine chicken with mixture and arrange in two qt. baking dishes. Bake at 350 for 1 hour.
